Take P.C.H. off of the 10 Frwy W. and make a right at Sunset. Go up Sunset and take a left at the first signal. Park on this street (there's plenty of parking in the mornings). Once you saddle-up, head back down Sunset (towards the beach) and make the first right on Paseo Miramar. Follow the yellow lines up the street. This paved street climbs up for about 1.5 miles and dead ends at the Paseo Miramar fire gate (kinda steep too...). Go through the gate and continue upwards.. Thomas Guide page 630 G5
