30 miles north of Nacimiento Road on Highway 1 in Big Sur. The trailhead is located directly across the street from the entrance to Andrew Molera State Park - park on the side of Highway 1 and head up the fireroad.

• Trail UpdateOld Coast Road-This is an all-fireroad ride, that makes up for its lack of technical terrain with stunning views. The road meanders between ridgeline views, ocean views, and redwood groves. Beware this is not a flat 21 miles. Plan on climbing over 3000 feet in that distance. The turnaround point is at Highway 1 at the historic Bixby Creek Bridge - a great place for a break and a snack.
