Genius, couldn't you be a little more discrete and do this by e-mail?

I'm sure your buddy Bill would appreciate it.

Nothing to be discrete about or was he supposed to say S like in Sullivan trail....you have seen pictures of Dusty bottom riding a drop there on this site.

I think this is a perfect opportunity for me to demonstrate my polished skills of being an a$$hole, and a time when all of you will appreciate it.

You know, there have been some incredibly huge idiots on this board, but Smut and Octo really have taken the cake. Not only have their posts here been mostly intelligible, but they also have displayed an amazing level of stupidity.

I think I speak for the entire board when I say this, and it absolutely needs to be said.

Octo and Smut, STFU and GTFOH. You two little girls have nothing to contribute here. If you want to use a message board to communicate, try this one. I think it will service your needs much better.

Please let me know if there is anyone else that you feel needs a good smacking. I, as the resident socalmtb a$$hole, will be happy to oblige.

BrahMa, we all have a calling in this life - it's nice you've found yours..

gotta agree with the Brah here, boys - don't you two have each other's email addys?

how would you like to end up with a fence at the top of the trail - closing it to you and everybody else? - get a clue, BrahMa might even rent one to you if he's in a good mood...

    •  Hey Brah mama
First off we are secret agents and no one would ever check this site because lack of intelligence.

Second when Smut wrote a warning about an illegal trail and said watch the blind drop because some idiot put "pungie" (spelling) sticks upright, so that if you jumped you would be impaled, it was deleted right away. Now this turns out to be a joke because other illegal trails can be mentioned but they are not deleted. So whats up with that? Shouldn't all threads of this nature be deleted? If a warning was erased, then all illegal trails should be erased including this one. We are just posting in fun.

Third The telephone wakes others up at 2 am. And I don't think smut has any email.

So you leave a message on this site and look what begins. He could of posted meet at W or D or H or S or 123 or who cares. And now you are talking about common sense. Where is your and eveybody elses who posted this flame's common senes. Maybe it hasn't rang your doorbell or whacked you beside your full face helmet.

Personally, I think everyone that has ragged Octo and Smut on this thread should take a step back and look at themselves. EVERYONE on this board has posted something about an illegal trail before - from the pictures at G-spot of DB and El Santo plus a million other "secret" spots to the references to riding "dark side" trails to every other thinly veiled reference to illegal trails posted on this board- not to mention a few quotes that have been used by the SB trails group.

Nobody here has a clean record - so maybe you should think before using "STFU and GTFOH". I know these guys annoy you, but how about just alerting the mod?

Oh, and BrahMa, does calling Octo and Smut "two little girls" make you feel better about the fact that they ride better than you?

        Dear Cara,

Everyone, including myself, has gone through an evolution regarding posting illegal information/pictures of illegal trails on this site. Just because mistakes have been made in the past, does not mean we cannot alert others to their possible mistakes. Hopefully you understand. Thanks.

        Good luck to you.

I vehemently agree, it seems that as a whole the online community finds it far too easy to "flame" online, almost as some sort of recourse for a lack of control in one's personal life. Of course, in real life most would be hard pressed to even conceive the notion of speaking aloud the dialog they have online for fear of public scrutiny.

Ahh the power of technology; just don't forget, for every extension there is an amputation.

    •  justice is in the giving of each to his own

Here's my contribution to this little flame war. People seem to like to pick on others as quickly as they can find a reason. Perhaps sometimes you ought to consider the things you're saying before typing.

      Case in point...

"You know, there have been some incredibly huge idiots on this board, but Smut and Octo really have taken the cake. Not only have their posts here been mostly intelligible, but they also have displayed an amazing level of stupidity." -BrahMa

      Main Entry: in·tel·li·gi·ble
      Pronunciation: in-'te-l&-j&-b&l
      Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin intelligibilis, from intelligere
      Date: 14th century
1 : apprehensible by the intellect only
2 : capable of being understood or comprehended

      - in·tel·li·gi·bil·i·ty /-"te-l&-j&-'bi-l&-tE/ noun
      - in·tel·li·gi·ble·ness /-'te-l&-j&-b&l-n&s/ noun
      - in·tel·li·gi·bly /-blE/ adverb

So what you're saying is quite literally, "Not only have their posts been mostly apprehensible by the intellect only (i.e. understood only by the smart ones), but they have also displayed an amazing level of stupidity." Now I could leave it at that because your sentence speaks for itself, however I feel compelled to point out that your sentence is also quite an excellent example of a textbook oxymoron.

In your defense I would have to assume that you meant to say "unintelligible." I just felt obligated to point out that line seeing as how you were pretty harsh which seemed completely uncalled for.

And hey, it's just an observation, I'm sure my posts are riddled with errors too.

I'm so non-violent it isn't even funny, you might as well threaten a little girl.

I have nothing to prove, nothing left to learn from it.

People other than yourselves, can plan rides on a public message board. Or, did the ownership of this site change recently? Have a nice day. : ) : ) : ) : ) : )

White-out in hand, I couldn't think of anything witty
enough to scribble on your bike today. Although a new
kickstand for "The" RFX would be a nice addition,
                don'tcha think?

Weird - that Turner seems to be in the shop a lot. Maybe you need to eliminate a section of your seat tube, or perhaps reduce the rear suspension design by 3 pivots.....then you'd be stylin'.

                        :)

        1. Hey Octo, jut give up already. You should just go ahead and give your bike to your old lady, since I'm sure she needs a good ride while you sit back and ride the couch.

        2. Come down off that pedestal that you have put yourself on. You are constantly posting messages stating that you just want to ride, and that you ride so often, yet when I see you on the hill you dont live up to it. I can do 3 runs in the time that it takes you to do one. Every 5 seconds you have to stop for one reason or another. If what youre saying is true and all you want to do is ride, then do it, and stop complaining.
