JCEL Seeks Entrepreneur to Open Local Bike/Outdoor Shop Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission (SAP&DC) received funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to develop 30 miles of non-motorized trail around Raystown Lake in Huntingdon County. In conjunction with the trail being built, SAP&DC has contracted with the Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (JCEL), to identify an entrepreneur and assist that entrepreneur in establishing a private sector business that will serve as a bike/outdoor center. The chosen entrepreneur will receive a package that will include: space and services in the Sill Business Incubator, technical assistance to secure public and private funding for business development, business start-up capital for accounting and legal fees, copying and printing, etc., and liability insurance while operating in the incubator.

In addition to the provisions stated above, the chosen entrepreneur will receive JCEL assistance in writing his/her business plan.
