Dude you couldn't be more wrong. I grew up in NorCal and never heard the word, "Hella" until I got to college and heard Socaler's using it.

The only reason any 'Socalers' were using it was because we were making fun of all the 'Norcalers' that came down south for college using the lame-ass slang "HELLA"....no joke..
