Probably the end of the battery life. Rechargables don't last forever, ya know! :( Hope you don't have to send it back to the factory. Is there some way to open it? You might want to try NiCad Lady - 'she' has an excellent selection of batteries. There are other sites, but this is the one with the catchy name.
GLTY, and watch out for that GhostRider fellow...I hear he's a real wet blanket!!! :):):)

Re: Garmin Edge 205 Battery Problems
Edge 205 is on the way to Garmin support people. They are supposed to replace the battery and check the software - no charge. Stay tuned. Posted by Old gringo a 56 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Ellsworth Truth from Chatsworth on 06/26/09

Re: Garmin Edge 205 Battery Problems
The Edge 205 returned yesterday. I took it out for a ride this morning and it is as good as new. I think they sent me a refurbished unit. Thanks, Garmin. Posted by Old gringo a 56 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Ellsworth Truth from Chatsworth on 07/07/09

Minor glitch: the protective flap that covers the data/charge port does not fit well. I usually can't get it to close. Posted by Old gringo a 56 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Ellsworth Truth from Chatsworth on 07/30/09

Louis, you are not the king! This is an old battle between me and him...you do not have the cajones to hold our jockstraps. But, you can cheerlead from the sidelines...wear a skimpy outfit w/pom poms...Gringo likey. Posted by GhostRider a 31 year old Downhiller on 08/03/09

The correct spelling is cojones. And the old guy no likey.

Spanish lesson: el cajon means the drawer, as in the thing you are supposed to put your clothes in. Cojones are cojones; huevos, nuts. That's where jockstraps go, you old fart, in drawers! Where else do you think they go? Sheez, I have to do all the heavy lifting around here. I know what cojones are, I have a huge pair of DD drawers for mine!
