hey, cruised thru your neck of the woods two weekends ago - twice (on my way to San Simeon, Big Sur & Monterrey and back) - realized I didn't have your # to meet and have lunch...
The Central Coast is hella-cool too! (there was a hike-only trail I went up that I would KILL to shuttle ;-) Posted by Macrider on 11/10/04
(stayed at a nice place on Moonstone in Cambria - fireplace and a good Conti in the am - barns are for livestock my friend...and neither Jefe nor his date was with us ;-) Posted by Macrider on 11/10/04
Better than the hiking trail up to Mt. San Jacinto peak? Almost worth the heli rental. Posted by Dusty Bottoms from Dogtown on 11/10/04

No dude. The trail from the tram to the cabin at the very top. 5 miles, the last mile is like Tunnel on crack. You would never get your bike past the 20 man ranger COMPOUND that the trail passes by. Posted by Dusty Bottoms from Dogtown on 11/10/04
