Jumping has more to do with technique than with weight of the bike. Replacing the fork won't make it a jumping machine. Posted by El Jefe a 35 year old on 01/24/05

Better yet, get the new Mountain Bike Action (March) and see the very thorough buyers guide. A lot of nice Jumping bikes including Kona for pretty good prices. You'd spend far less in the long run getting a jump specific bike vs. upgrading and replacing all the parts on what you're riding. Posted by STP on 01/24/05
