 Any Swinger tips?
I think I got my swinger 3-way on my Burner setup ok, but I was hoping to hear some other suggestions

Hey SoCal, I got flamed pretty bad a few weeks ago (exactly which time is hard to remember) when I asked you how your daughter's acting was doing. I think it was about the Jack&Bobby episode. Care to chime in and back me up here?

I'm not trolling for poon. Ew. Jeez. I own a photo lab, and there's acting involved. Strictly professional.
              Let me rephrase my inquiry:
"Hey SoCal, how's the wife and kids?"

I suggest outlining the boundaries of who and what you're allowed to do, and do everything in the same room. your partner may be open to sharing you with another, but excluding them visually or emotionally from your activities is sure to create tension. Oh wait, you're talking about an air shock...sorry.

I have that shock on my Fisher and, if you didn't know, it's also basically identical to a 5th Element Air so any tuning ideas you see for those apply as well. I suggest you try the same trail(s) with different pressures in the SPV chamber, but with the pressure you've dialed in for your air spring always the same. The SPV chamber pressure not only affects the "pedaling threshold" but also the ramp-up in compression valving, so try some different settings.

Then, fiddle with your rebound damper settings, also riding the same trails. Be sure to mix in some higher speed with some technical descending. I discovered, the hardest way, that my initial preference for a "fast" rebound does not mesh well with my uh... descending skills. Now, I run the rebound damping clamped down all the way and wish I could get a few more clicks for the sake of adjustability. There's quite a bit of difference in the adjustments (what, 14 clicks?) but it wasn't really truly noticeable on my single pivot until I rode trails (as opposed to the streets and steps in my front yard).

Try releasing all air and starting from the ground up. I have noticed that when taking the pump off, I loose several punds of air pressure so I add several PS to make up it.

The hiss you hear is from the air in the hose. Read the pump manufacturer's instructions... it's there.
