Saratoga Gap is at the southern end of the MROSD Skyline preserves. The singletrack riding at Saratoga is invariably mentioned in the top 5 of everyone's must-ride lists for the Bay Area. What it lacks in technical riding it more than makes up for in beauty and flow. A good place to go spin off miles doing laps of ST, and rip through buffed-out tree-weaving singletrack.

A couple years ago on vacation we drove through that area.I was telling my wife I'm sure theres some good riding around here somewhere. We stopped at the restuarant and I looked for cars with bike racks or anybody that I could ask about the trails, but really didn't get any good info so we left.Damn, would have loved to do that.El beautifulo. Oh man, those pics are making me get all sentimental. I used to live near Soquel Demonstration Forest, and Saratoga Gap was technically easy but the scenery was amazing. Glad you are enjoying it. I sure miss riding there. Posted by Mealsonwheels on 11/13/04
