  • Lake Perris - #LakePerris

    Socal - Riverside County - Moreno Valley/Perris NickNames: #LakePerris

To get to lake perris get off the 60 freeway at Moreno Beach drive and take that all the way up to the first signal you get to after you get off the freeway. Turn left and you will have to pay for a day pass into Lake perris, but there is some fun runs up there.

    • Trail UpdateThe biggest obsticle was finding the trail! When you pull into the parking area for the amphitheatre, the trail starts up on the left side of the lot. If you walk up the path by the bathrooms toward the theater - you may get lost. The upwards climb was fairly gradual. The decline seemed fairly steep. For mountain bikers, recommend wearing pants, the bushes scratch and I'm still itchy!!

    • Trail UpdateHow Long A Dirve Is It-i havent done it sence mid dec. and the museam dh trail waas getting in better condition and someone told me end of the world is cleared out but im not sure. if you go you will have a good time. but you have to find the trails.it is kinda hard if you dont kno were you are going. they are fun and challenging but they arent that long. the museam singletrack is a fun challengingand bout 2 miles and end of the world is probally less then a mile and more steep than technical
hope u have a good time.

    • Trail UpdateUpdate-Does anyone have an update on this trail? Is it still overgrown? I'd really like to know if it would be worth my time to drive out there from Redlands.

    • Trail UpdateYou Missed It-the rangers dont know or will not tell oyu about the trails cause one of them was made by a rider and the other one is an old hiking trail. they are very overgrown now. they are kinda hard to get to but they are fun. there are some technical sections on the main trails

    • Trail UpdateMust Have-missed it all.I got there and asked the park rangers about any local trails/singletrack or for that matter anything to ride outside of the pavement.I was directed to a fireroad at the east end of the park.I rode up this slightly slopped FR road for a couple of miles (could have been more) till I found what appeared to be singletrack.I rode down this for a couple of miles and then it dropped me out by what I believe was a school. If this is the only singletrack in the area, don't waste your time.No challenges except a little sand and nothing to see but standard dry arid so-cal desert faire.I found my way back to the park entrance and asked these rangers if they knew of anything. They didn't.

I could see some potential in the area with all the rocks and stuff, but I don't think anybody will take the initive for this area.I hope I just missed it.

    • Trail UpdateFirst Time-rode here for the first time on saturday night and the trails are funn. we did a shuttle run. got dropped off at the houses and rode up the steep fire road and down the first trail (i think it is end of the world) got picked up at the collage. droped off at houses again and did the farther trail (museam dh). we got picked up at the perris fairgrounds and driven to the enterance and rode up the long boring fire road and rode down the trail to the left back down to the houses and got picked up and went home.
one of the best rides i have done in a long time.

    • Trail UpdateThe Downhill Trails-i rode both of the trails last sunday, and they are verry fun. end of the world downhill is a blast, very dteep, and technical. the other trail is a very fast trail with a cupple sections. the trail has lots of little drops on it that you ride, but nothin big. both trails are the best downhill trails around the area.
you have to try these trails, i garente you will have fun.

    • Trail UpdateAnother Great Downhill-if you want a good downhill that ends in lake perris, i found one. I went ridding with a cupple of people today. ti get to the trail follow directions below,BUT instead of going right at the singletrack on the flat, go up the next hill. just after you get to the top of that hill start lookin for a singletrack on the right. at first it is a relitivly smooth trail, but there is 1 steep section, then not really steep. it is a fast trail. there is 1 section were if you come up on it too fast(like i did) you can fall and get hurt badly(luckly i didn't fall). you are going down a fast section and just drop into a ditch and it is nothin but rock. I bottomed my jr t out in that section because i was going so fast when i hit the rocks. The trail ends right at the parkinglot for the museam. a good downhill that is worth the pust up the hill.

    • Trail UpdateA Great Downhill In Lake Perris-There is a great downhill trail at lake perris. some people call it end of the world downhill/some call it RCCDH. To get to the trail you enter in the north gate. park in the first parking lot. go left on the main road youwill see a water tank. go to the water tank and make a right on a singletrack up the mountain. The singletrack will end on a dirt road. go up the dirt road untill you hit a little downhill and a long flat. on the flat you will see a trail on the right. take the trail down. it is a steep rocky trail. it ends up by RCC. go back on the street. go back up the road to lake perris enterance. after the last houses on the right there is a equestrion trail. ride that trail to the water tank. go under the road gate up the fire road to the trail you came up on and take that trail down to your car
