    • Trail UpdateHot And Dusty-Rode the trail on the 5th of July. Very hot and dusty -- wonderful conditions. Trail was great. First section was somewhat technical -- lots of rock and rut challenges, but nothing that couldn't be cleared. Second section was shorter and not as steep -- just hot like the rest of the ride. Third section was questionable. The cattle had recently been through so there were lots of fresh droppings that had to be avoided (unless you liked pieces of cow patties flung at your face). Dusty, chewed up (hoofs), soft, cow crap, and flies -- so we turned around after about 1/4 of a mile and sailed down the whole thing back to the car. Needless to say, the return trip down was more than worth the effort going up. Of course, going up is what makes it all worth it!

    • Trail Update007 Bike Trail-Trail is very technical for the first half mile or so (nice rock garden). After that a nice steady ascent. I only road the trail for 8 mi's or so so can't speak to conditions beyond that. The trip down is very sweet with lots of jumps available. All Single track except where the trail crosses the parallel access road. Bring lots of water. Freeriding is the preferred option for this trail, so I'm told. The Central Camp access road crosses the trail at several places so choose how far you'd like to ride. I'm told the trail is 22 miles long. All alpine single track
