Van Tran and I were just talking about that yesterday. Is that pic taken from Aliso?

More or less Aliso...I took it on the Aliso Summit Trail in Laguna Niguel.

Driving into my office today I could not believe how low and how much snow was on Saddleback. Very cool shot

I have a picture that I'm trying to scan of Jan 84 or 85, that is a solid white Saddleback down to about 1500 feet.

I drove up Silverado to the base of the mountain and there was snow all over. It was awesome.

Is there a ride up Saddleback on Thanksgiving?

That doesn't look like fun, unless it was grippy snow. Was it grippy or slippy slidey?

That's funny, I drove thru San Juan Capistrano yesterday and looked up at the hills and called Dusty and told him we could snowboard down SJT...did the snow go all the way down to the bottom?

Snow level halfway up Saddleback - near the Laurel Springs sign. Very light snow still falling.

This crafty ninja thought he could stalk out the last set of footprints Sunday, when much to his dismay a jogger blew by him at about 3pm easily on his way to the Main Divide, if not the Peak
He managed a fierce growl in Ninja-ese, donned his rising sun bandana, then took off down the mountain vowing he would return...with booties...and studded tires...

This winter season has been very terrible I have also never seen this much of snow in OC. This whole winter I was checking in custom writings review blog for daily weather report to know the snowfall density and also check the podcast which gives us the daily snow grooming report from streets.
