Again, Mill Creek Summit.

At the Sun Valley Station.

Trek Pilot 2.1 spa. For the first road bike I've ridden in 20 some years, I like it.

Don't worry, every mountain biker's dirty little secret is that they got a roadie.
I really do enjoy the long climbs on empty mountain roads like Deer Creek or Latigo in the SM's or say Mt. Baldy or way back in Tujunga. Great stuff.
    Hate the traffic though.

I rode from Sherman Oaks to the top of Mt. Baldy a couple weeks ago. Apparently, that climb is one of the few that compares to the climbs in the Pyranees. Riding from Sherman Oaks made the ride about 120 miles. I'm told that is the 'simulation' ride that all the guys wanting to ride TDF do for training...

      That was a b!tch of a mountain...

          Hey Buddy,

you better watch out for Baguette carrying Basque's or if that doesn't do it, then ask a Barcelonian W(hy)TF they don't speak Castillian, right Papo ?

Way cool stuff! I'm just starting the process of getting my ancient road pig back on the asphalt. You must've had a good ol' time. The first pic of the observatory makes it looks like a giant R2D2 is getting ready to pounce on your bike!

BTW, is that a girls hairband (red thingamajig) holding your little device on the downtube? <8^)

Seeing as how I no longer have hippy hair, I have to do something with them. I still don't have a computer for the bike so I have my GPS strapped to the down tube. The hairband is holding together the busted wristband. :D
