Keyesville 2007 Roll Call

Just a little note to see who's coming up to the 19th edition? Short track and DH on Saturday and XC on Sunday. Will STP win after a solid 2nd place last year? How will Papi fare (continued domination of the Expert class?)? Anyone interested in doing the stage race to determine the best overall hammerhead? I'll have 2 growlers filled with cold Kern River Brewing Company Sequoia Red for Sunday post race recovery for all interested...hope to see you all there!

I'll be there along with the Block Crew. I dunno how fast I'll be, but I'm certainly going to try my best (as always). I'm on for Fontucky this weekend too!

Sounds like you've been hitting it pretty hard...you'll be flying I'm sure! Good luck at Fontucky...I'm wanting to go there myself, but I think I'm going to go flog myself at Keyesville...pray for some rain in the next 4-5 days, it was nice last weekend but it's getting sandy. One more storm will help a lot! I still don't know if I'm going to do the stage race or just the short track and xc...we'll see.

I'll be there.
No more expert class for me though. I'll be getting my arse handed to me by the big boys.
I might try short track, though I've never done.
I have to say when I get up there on Saturday I am going to want to ride a few laps on the tasty course.

Hey Pap...the short track is going to be a good warm-up for Sunday's race, I'm thinking...I'll probably do an EASY lap if I don't do the short track. Damn, I wish I had more miles on the bike by now, but, oh well, maybe by September I'll be up to speed! Be sure to hang for the post race growlers at my car (Kern River Brewing Company Sequoia Red...) or whatever your recovery fluid may be...come to think of it, maybe I'll just hang with the growlers and not race at all (yeah, right!)

I will see you guys on Sunday! Deb and I prerode the course yesterday with my bud, Rich Bartlett and we had a blast! I love the new course markers. They make it so easy to follow the course. Yesterday was a stunning day up there and the track is in primo condition. Any one who goes up there will be stoked at how nice it is. We did a couple of easy loops, then had a tasty IPA at the Kern River Brewery. See ya early Sunday AM.
