 entry level races?
Hey- Does anyone know of a mountain race of any kind that has categories for a first-time racer or novice racer? You don't all start out as experts, RIGHT??

        Hey Zulu.... I started racing last year and had a blast. I did a bunch of different races but if you are looking for a really mellow way to ease into racing I highly recommend the Rim Nordic series. Cool courses (about 2/3 single track and 1/3 fire road) and the whole "vibe" there is much more mellow and relaxed than the other venues. Not to take anything away from Big bear or southridge.. they are also great places to jump in.

    I looked around those web sites... I wanted to know if there is any Mountain Cross 4x or 6x at any of those events???

      Missed out on the winter race season... Does any one know if SRC or anyone else runs a spring race schedule???

        I believe that there is one more DH race at Southridge on the 11th. I am just an XC weight weenie geek so I really am not sure. As far as mountain cross I don't know of any races of that genre except at the National Championships at Mammoth in July.
        I do know there is a NORBA NCS race at Southridge on the 5th of May that might have a race like that.
