MtB Message Board

 Magicshine 900 lumens light
Hey all-

I just purchased the Magicshine 900 lumens light that is lighting up (intended) the message boards with its cheapness and brightness.

I just rode San Juan Trail with it:

last night.

My verdict - pretty good, although I managed to slightly damage it. It's probably more my fault for riding too hard on it than anything else...

Has anyone else used it? Any other feedback?

thanks-

Chris

I am in the process of buying one myself. I guess they are only $85.00 at geoman.com. I need this because riding in the dark is a nec. in phoenix during summer. How is the beam pattern? Is it enough or do you need another headlamp? Thanks Brian...

The beam is good and the thing about it that I really like is it puts out allot of side light too so you see more then just the trail.

I have two and I like them very much. I have one on my bike and one on my head. The on bad thing is the head mount that I bought seems to slip every so often so I need to reach up and fix it, I am working on trying to fix that problem.
