Southern California Trails

  • Coyote Hills Regional Park - #CoyoteHillsRegionalPark

Norcal - Alameda County - Fremont NickNames: #CoyoteHillsRegionalPark

Coyote Hills Regional Park is located in the city of Fremont. It is off Paseo Padre Parkway. Turn west onto Patterson Ranch Road, stop at the kiosk($2.00 fee). Parking is on the left hand side, at the quarry staging area, approx 1/4 mile past the kiosk.
Maps are available at the kiosk. This was my first time here and I dont really know the trail names but there are signs on every trail. This is a fairly easy ride, good climbs for warm ups. This is a good ride for an early morning workout before work or afterwork.

    • Trail UpdateCoyote Hills-My friend took me to this trail Saturday morning. Conditions were cold and foggy. This was my first time here so I cant list many trail names. There are however trails names at every intersection so it would be difficult to get lost. The map you get from the kiosk is very good, it list all the trails.
We started on Bayview trail, kinda of flat then gradually climbed. The climbs were fairly easy. We went around the marsh then circled the Salt Evaporation Ponds. We crissed-crossed through different trails within the park then eventually crossed the toll plaza to what appears to be part of the park. Did a loop there then back to the car.
