 beginner trails in san diego
Hello all, Just wondering if anyone could suggest a good beginner trail in the eastlake/chula vista area of san diego. I just bought my bike over the weekend, and im really , really green, but eager to learn and get into shape....

A good beginner trail is around Otay Lakes by the Olympic Center. It is pretty much flat single track with a few bridges. It's good for getting use to your bikes handleing chracteristics. You can get the first half from the fire road connected to the parking lot of the lake then to get to the second half you have to jump on to the street by the dam off Otay Lakes Road for a few yards and you will see trail on your left.

Otay is a good choice. Alos try going around the Bonita Golf course starting on Conduit road.

Contact me and I will show you around all the trails in the Chula Vista area. I have been riding here for about 35 years.
