 Death Valley Double
My ride partner flaked for the Death Valley Double Century on Sat March 5th. I reserved a double room at the Furnace Creek Inn for the 4th and need some other sicko to share. This is an easy double, only 9K feet of climbing and the weather should be lovely if the current pattern holds. E me if you're interested (brain damaged).

It'll be a piece of cake after the Mulhulland double on April 16 - 205 miles with 14.7K of climbs.

No takers on Death Valley? Thought some of you guys were tough. There's not that much difference between a 5 hour ride and a 10 hour ride - you just get to know your saddle more intimately ;-) If anyone has any friends that might be interested, please pass this along.

        thnx

I'd like to do it.The website says it's sold out and the waiting list is closed. But if you know of a way I can get in,I'll do it.I'm thinking of going for the Triple, so if theres no credit,I'll pass.

      Spring DV is definitely closed....

but you could always try the Mulhulland double in April. Last year it went up Potrero Rd from the beach and Balcolm Cnyn on the way back, not to mention Mulhulland both ways up Stunt and up to Cothrin. The flip side is lots of screamin downhill - Dear Creek and Tuna Cnyns to name a couple.
