I had first gone to Black Mountain Cycles but felt like they really didn't care. Maybe it was because I don't ride a 2 thousand dollar bike....I don't know. I then went down to Action and they were very attentive to what I was saying and even though I thought I needed a new part they worked on the part I had and restored it back to good condtion for nothing. The owner is a great guy and I will be going there for all my parts. |

Action Rockss!!!!! You can get super sweet deals there if u just hang out there or help them out. i got a marin east peak (1250ish) for 500 bucks these guys rock. Dan is a really awesome guy and all of them are really friendly. go to action and you will not be dissapointed (unless you are a downhill racer, beyond bikes might help you there). but best of all all of them ride mountain bikes. if you go to action you won't be disappointed

Action Cyclery is a great shop. Dan, the new owner, won't try to sell you on the most expensive items in the shop but will help you find the right bike/accessories for your style of riding. I bought my Haro XC bike from them. They gave me a good price and have been very reasonable for maintenance/upgrades. Dan's bike tech, Pat, is also extremely knowledgeable about all the latest hardware. The turnaround time for repairs is awsome, usually the same day, unlike some of the larger chains in San Diego.
I guess what I like most is that they've never tried to rip me off, unlike Black Mtn. Bicycles.
