I have gone to Mission Cyclery exclusively from 2000 to 2003. The staff there is first rate and down to earth. When you walk in a shop and they know your name and ask how you've been, that's something. They built an intense Tracer for me when my Trek Y33 was stolen, even let me ride a personal bike to get the feel...as long as I wanted. I was saddened by their decision to sell to Performance Bikes, I just hope that when I return from overseas, the staff is the same or at least the atmosphere! Best bike shop I have ever been to, and one that I would be proud to spin wrenches at.|

I bought a Trek Liquid 20 at a reduced price. The prices all seem great. I could not afford the bike outfront so they put it on layaway for me with no extra holding charge. They gave me excelent opinions on what bike I should buy and did not try and talk me into buying anything I did not want or need. I have had minor problems with the bike (as all bikes have when new) and every time I bring it in to the shop they are very polite and have always taken care of the problem free of charge. This is a great family owned shop that is friendly and very helpfull. I wish I would be living in this area longer because it is a great shop. I refer everyone I know to them because I trust that my friends will be treated the same way I have been.

I felt like there was an attempt to take advantage of me the times i've considered patronizing this shop. service prices are almost twice as high as those of other bike shops. not even the most minor mechanical adjustment is done without a charge which, in my mind, doesn't create goodwill. Also, I have witnessed efforts by this shop to make money on the return of warranty items.

This is my favorite LBS because of the friendly staff. Whenever I have gone in there I have been helped quickly. The service is great, when my front shock on my new Gary Fisher Sugar wouldn't hold air I took it in and they fixed it for me, even lent me a spare while it was being fixed! The shop is family owned, I think they've been there 20 years or so.
