Awful customer service! I went in there looking to see if they sell |
cannondale bikes and the butt-hole answered me back with the
same question! Before that I was browsing around and no one
even approached me to see if I needed assistance. If you like
being serviced by d-bags and butt-holes then this is the place!
Go to Cycle World on Reseda, good people there!

I'm not happy with Bicycle Den
1) I paid $10 bucks for two Velox rim tapes - thats a
make up of almost double over regular retail price.
2) I purchased the rear wheel that had a defective
freehub - they wanted to charge a labor fee to
I store employees are not very friendly, I don't feel
too comfortable while visiting this store.
I do not recommend this shop.

I have just used the service department many times and they are always quick to turn work around- small jobs are done on the spot. They did blow one repair but fixed it with an apology and no charge when I brought it back in.

I don't know what that last guy was thinking. This is the best
local bike shop around. Service, service, service. Low key. Been
around forever. John the mechanic is awesome .. prideful, a
diligent rider, local guy... and he has done countless work on my
bikes through the years at a very reasonable cost. I am
completely satisfied. With bike shops, I think you just pick your
guy and stick with them. Local is good. These guys are good.

Rick a 34 year old Die-hard Enthusiast, riding a GT mach 1,
I loved the bikes I puchased from Bicycle Den in Granada Hills, Ca. around 1996. I purchased a light weight gem Gold Metallic Mongoose Mountain Climber Bike and a BMX Black Pearl for my son. Warning to anyone purchasing a bike from this location. Both of my bikes were stolen from my backyard porch shortly after I bought them. Regardless of registering your bikes with thePolice Department they will not be recovered by Devonshire Division Police. I saw a bike stolen from the front door of Bicycle Den. Granad Hills, California is a big hit place for bike theives. I was approached on the street with my bike and told by a hispanic driver to put my bike in his truck. I refused to cooperate but was a victim of theft anyway. Please keep your bikes indoors or securley locked at all times.

I have bought a few things from this shop and have never been disappointed. Mainly I have all my bike service done here. I think the bike service is excellent and I am now bringing my friends bikes in to have all repairs and service done. I deal with John and he can also rebuild most mountain forks. I have had 2 done over the years they came out perfect.

I bought a Giant Farrago Dual Suspension bike from the folks the other day. They had a good selection, the best price & great service to boot.
I certainly recommend them highly for anyone looking for a bike in the SFV.
Also, I am really happy with the Giant Farrago DS. It is a very, very nice mid priced hybrid bike.
