The Bicycle Mart
1601 S Brand Blvd
I bought a couple of tubes there. Its messy and the old bikes there are over-priced. Must be a front for some drug running or some governmental secret headquarters. I'd do a blowout, garage sales thing and sell those old crappy bikes and start fresh with new stock, noboay wants to see bikes from 1998. Friendly guy though.|
this guy doesnt know a handlebar from a seat post. do yourself the favor and be prepared to store your bike there for months. extremely unprofessional and a huge inconvenience.

I walked in, looked at the messy, unkept store, saw the middle-aged guy with a beer-belly behind the counter, and walked out. I'm sorry, but the staff of a bike shop should look like fit riders.

Small, overpriced, no selection, not very helpful. They've been there
forever though. I don't know how they stay in business.

Mom & pop shop good for an inner tube. I
tried buying some brake cables there and
popped the heads off them squeezing the
lever in the repair stand. That's a low-quality
warning if I ever saw one. Owners don't seem
to know how to run a bike shop. The guy is
nice and knowledgeable, the woman seems
to know nothing. Don't stock much by way of
parts. Overpriced used road bikes of the
1980s eat up the tiny showroom space.
