We had our bikes stolen and had to replace them fast as we ride everyday in SoCal. Corbins is the closest and I always like to support local shops. That works great for future service needs.

Corbins owner was very helpful answering all questions without pushing any type or price range of bike. We ended up buying 2 new and one used bike and are quite happy with the experience.

re you kidding me? What do these guys specialize in? It's
absolutely not customer service. I go into this place and ask for
a replacement tube, letting him know I wasn't used to buying
road tubes, so I wasn't sure what I was looking for. He doesn't
even look at the tube. He just hands me something and takes
my cash. WRONG TUBE. There's another trip and some more gas
wasted.
When I return, no one is friendly, the old fart is pissed
because he has to get up and do something, and the other no
necks in the shop are so busy watching the weather that they
can't answer a simple question with anything more than an "I
don't know".
What a joke this place is. I go in every couple of years and it
always reminds me why I don't go there the rest of the time! Go
down the street a few blocks to Beach City Cycles and leave this
Corbins place for the bro brah blah blah blah. THIS PLACE
SUCKS!!

I was also ingored by the guy at the counter. He seemed as though he could care less if I made a purchase or not. He appeared perturbed by my questions, simple ones like do you have this or that. His prices were high, really high! I sugessted therapy and left. I will never return there again. Too many shops nearby to deal with an attitude!

I have been to this shop twice to buy some parts for my 2001 Fisher Hoo Koo. Both times, upon walking in the door, I was completely ignored. The second time, the guy at the counter seemed to go out of his way to ignore me. They didn't have some very simple pieces of hardware (nuts and bolts type stuff) and the only 9-speed chain that they had in stock was an XT. Fine if you like the fact that Shimano hasn't yet figured out the quick-link thing. Prices were high, as expected with a LBS, but I am usually willing to pay a bit extra to help the local biking community. I guarantee that I won't be helping this local biking community any more.
