Went to this shop for a rear hub repair. They were very helpful and honest. They could've turned it into a much bigger repair and I would've never known, but didn't. This place has changed hands many times over the years but I continue to support them, whomever the owner is because Agoura needs it's own shop. Happy to see that the new owners are helpful and honest.

Mention that you go to Joel's temple for a discount!! Everyone is super helpful except the Little Man. It's a bit testy at times.

I went in on a weekend. The you blonde surfer looking kid told
me it would take a week to get a tune up. But, then told me that
if came the following week sunday I would have an appointment
set up so it would be done in two days. When I came to bring
my bike in that Sunday, he told me it would take a week again,
and that it would be done on Friday. Friday was the 4th of July
and they were closed when I went to pick up my bike. I had
planned on going on a ride in Sycamore Canyon. This kid ruined
a part of my holiday weekend. I hope my bike will be ready
tomorrow! I have had great service at this shop in the past, just
do not trust the young want-to-be Jeff Spicoli kid.

I've been using them since the new owner took over 3-4 years ago. They are ALL really nice & knowledgable. Always treat me like I'm their only customer and they've always been straight shooters. I've shopped the othere local shops and was never approached by anyone. I felt like they thought I had Avairian Flu (I didn't). If you're looking for some honest customer service, go see them.

Had brake work done. Front breaks were so tight I couldn't get my tire off.

Another time I went in on Saturday afternoon and asked how long it would take to get new brakes and I was told that if I brought the bike in on Sunday by 4 pm, it would be done on Tuesday.

I brought the bike in around 2 pm on Sunday and they said that it would be done on Friday afternoon.

No biggie, but then Friday morning they called to say the the front brake would be done after 5 that day but the rear break wouldn't be done since they had to order a part.

On Saturday they looked at the bike and showed me the parts they would be putting on. Somehow they missed the other part they needed. So now the bike may won't be done until after Tuesday next week.

When the bike was dropped off they were told that it was needed for Friday before 5 pm. I am never going back to this shop again.

Cathy a 28 year old Downhiller,

Agoura Cycle has talent with Joel at the helm and Jim, Gary and James the mechanic rounding off a superb team.

I purchased my Felt Road bike and I am totally satisfied with the shop. Their attention to detail has provided me with a bike that give me share joy. It's a must, take a look stop by and chew the fat with these guys. There is a whole bunch of knowledge and patience for the experience or the novice. I have a weekly addiction to stop by the shop just to see what's new on the racks. The garment section is growing, take a look for yourself.

Great local family bike store, full range of bikes, beginners bikes to high end customs, and bike accessories. New owner/manager very friendly and community oriented. Store sponsers the local Amgen bike team. Product lines has expanded tremendously, especially clothing/shoes. Has expert custom bike fitting service. Provides great informative, free bike maintenance classes once a month. Mechanics are excellent and very honest, won't give you stuff you don't need.

Jose is a super nice guy - I have bought parts and helmets for my kids. He keeps good staff. Only one Road Bike in the place last time I looked, too bad. Pretty good prices.

Agree with the comments on Jose. He is very nice and professional. Won't try to rip you off or oversell you. Shop caters to BMX and recreational bikes not much selection on Mtb's but can service all types of bikes. Friendly.
