 Road Bike Purchase
I have been out shopping for a new road bike (Trek/Specialized). Can anyone point me to a shop that will negociate on price or who has the best deals?

Not many shops are willing to negociate on prices as the profit margins on bikes is not that great. What area are you in and how far are you willing to travel? Have you shopped or priced bikes online yet?

If you show them cash, like in their faces, they'll start talking.

Papo's right - cash is king! Also, if you agree to something close to the asking price, most times the shop will negotiate 'free' upgrades and accessories.

Supergo sells Specialized. Helen's Cycle's sells Trek. Both are in Santa Monica on Broadway and both will negotiate.
Ask for Monty or Adam at Helen's and work with Jim the manager at Supergo.
These are two shops I deal with in the LA area. I live in the valley and make the drive.
There are a boatload of shops that carry these brands. The most important factor in a road bike is fit. Helen's is all about getting you fitted and Monty is the man. Supergo will do it too- I think. Good luck!
