you need to have an open space and if neccesarry need permission to build there. if possible you need some logs to build up the basic structure of the jump(s). if not just start with piling up mud using some flat bits of wood to pile up the mud against.put this flat wood at an angle aginst the jump gettin help from mates to hold it up while you pile some mud against it is helpful.make sure the angle of the wood is about 80 degrees from the ground because this is the back wall wich will stop the jump from crumbling when hittin at high speeds, this when the mud is piled up should create a stable structure for which can be modified wen u feel it should be done. i dont no how steep you want it weather its for long distance or short so ill give both ideas. for the long distance you need to think about how long it will be so about 4-5feet long wich will be a good slope to take of from then you will need to figure out the gap bit yourself as the size of the gap depends on ur ridin speeds, if u ride flat out then u will need a big run up to get ur speed up, this would meen that ur gap would be about 5-6 feet long.but u should make the gap as easy as possible because u dnt want to have any accidents. if you was to in away figure out how long ur gap should be then you can build a slow and gradual landin wich would be about twice aslong as the take of an a big lower in height. if ur buildin a jump for small distance with alot of height thn ur jump needs to be about 3feet long with a very quick steep slope almost as steep as a 1/4 pipe, the gap in between the jumps should be about 2-3 feet and then the landin would be made in exactly the same way but the opposite way round. hope i helped ya out, Ash
