Is this deal too good to be true?
Sam's Club is featuring a Motiv Rockport 26" 24 speed mountain bike for $99.00. The sign says it was originally $279.00. I haven't been on a bike in many years and would like to start riding again. Can anyone give me some info about this product?

Take it from us, you'll get what you pay for. The Motiv is a cheap, heavy bike. Go ahead and pick it up. It's a 35 pound pig. Your best bet, considering your age and state of fitness is a 'comfort bike'. Comfort bikes have wider seats for comfort, a more upright seating position and are smooth and pleasant to ride. You should buy this at your local bike shop. The advantages are numerous. You'll get the right sized bike for you (very important). You'll get service, support and advice. You will get a much higher quality bike, that will last you a lot longer and is far more pleasurable to ride. Yes, you will spend more, but what price happiness? Visit a few shops while you're at it and see what kind of help and advice you get.

Ha Ha, sure it's only 35 lbs STP? I picked up a display scale in Costco and walked over to the bike aisle one day. The FS Motiv I weighed was a 40 lb hunk of junk! While that weight is acceptable for a high-performance highly suspended downhill rig it's just ridiculous for that pig-dog mild-steel sidewalk-cruising bike called the Motiv. ;-)

You dudes are tough. My God, for $99 you get:
    1. Full Suspension with excellent travel length.
    2. A solid well made aluminum frame.
    3. All Shimano. Acera front and rear deraillers. Shimano crank.
    4. Gripshift.
    5. Excellent tires and rims.
    6. Great brakes.

Go find another deal like this anywhere else. The bike may be slightly heavy; but it isn't bad. If you compare to the Walmart or Kmart $99 bikes, it ain't even close. the *mart bikes are real junk in this $ range. I personally think this is a great bike for a beginner and worth $200. Buy it. If you don't like it, sell it on ebay in two months for $150.
    Good luck.

Well i dont know about these bikes and have very less idea about them. I feel it's really the time now to get over here and know more about them. I have done research on cheap essay writing service articles which was written on various bikes and gained of much of knowledge.
