 Pimpin Monnridge Animal Park
I bought a lil shack in BBL and now as a semi-local, I hope you fellow biking folks who visit up here take a trip to the Moonridge Animal Park (after or before a ride) and drop some duggets into the boxes at the wayward station/zoo. Its located in Moonridige, 43285 Goldmine Drive a mile from x street Summit Bl and Big Bear Bl (the 18) and directly across the street from the Bear Mountain Ski Lift.
Its a non-profit wayward station for injured animals and they need about $6 million to re-locate to a larger facility proposed next door to the Discovery Center on the north side of the lake. They need to relocate because the park is getting too small
and the amount of animals taken in is getting larger. Thank you, man!

The north side sounds like a much better location...more peaceful. Can you post a complete address so us home-bodies can send a check?

thanks Doc, the address of the website is:

    http://www.moonridgezoo.org/map/index.html

    and

    http://www.moonridgezoo.org/lfwc/supporthfl.html

for donations. Thanks a bunch. But actually visiting the zoo will give you a close up look
at the residents. For example some jerkoff shot off 1/2 the wing of that eagle and redtail hawk.
That brown bear has a front arm missing and the mountain lions have their ailments as well.
